Restaurant Review #2

Irish Pub

Every once in a while, we like to go to a pub. The great thing about The Old Triangle is, it’s a comfortable walk from where we are currently staying in Charlottetown. The food is pretty good and they have lots of different beers on tap.

We were in the mood for burgers and beer. So off to the Triangle we went. They make their burger patties from scratch using local Island beef or lamb and it comes with your choice of side ( fries are homemade too!). A bacon cheese burger and fries will set you back about $16 cad.

Take a look:

Belfast Burger

The burgers are pretty tasty too! They serve they serve them on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, dill pickle slice, mayo, and mustard.

For beer I had an Alexander Keith’s IPA and Jocelyne had a Kilkenny Cream Ale.

There always seems to be something happening at the Triangle. On Saturdays, they have a trivia game afternoon. They offer brunch on Sundays and they often have live music and jams different times during the week.

You don’t have to go to Charlottetown to visit an Old Triangle Pub, they have four locations in the maritimes. Besides Charlottetown, there is one in Moncton, Halifax, and Sydney.

They do a good job of fish and chips too! As well as, chicken wings and calamari.

So if you find yourself in the maritimes, check them out!

Remember to eat with love in your heart – the food will taste better ❤️🍔🍺
